Lizard Peninsula

A beautiful fishing village with quaint harbour and sheltered beach, a rich maritime history with local lifeboat to save all who come unstuck on the infamous Manacles.

Gweek

Situated at the head of the Helford River, a pretty village with thriving boating community, famous National Sea Sanctuary can be found here along with peace and tranquillity on the riverbanks.

Helston

Historic market town with impressive buildings and streets, famous for Flora Day, which is one massive party in May celebrating the onset of Spring, the Royal Naval Air Station of Culdrose neighbours the town with a popular Air Day held in July, Trevarno Estate and Gardens and the ever popular attraction of Flambards fun for all ages are all close by.

The Lizard

Lizard Village is Britain's most southerly point, from here the craggy cliff scenery with the waves crashing below can be enjoyed, unspoilt fishing villages, deserted beaches, mile after mile of cliff walks taking in the stunning scenery, pay a visit to the largest satellite station in the world Earth Station Goonhilly.

The largest village on the Lizard with plenty to satisfy all from shops to inns, galleries to restaurants, a pretty working harbour, nearby Poldhu Cove has a marvellous family beach and from here Marconi conducted his famous experiments, keen surfers must pay a visit to Polurrian.
